	Bobby joined the Betsy Layne Fire Dept. on February 7th, 2000. He served as Vice President from February 12th, 2001, to September 8th, 2003. He was appointed Public Relations Officer on February 14th, 2005, and served in that capacity until February 11th, 2008. Bobby served as Vice President from February 14th, 2005, until February 13th, 2006, and as President from March 26th, 2007, until February 11th, 2008. Bobby was also named as the 2001 Firefighter of the Year. He obtained his Level I firefighter certification on February 7th, 2003, and later obtained his Level II certification on June 4th, 2009. Bobby has accumulated over 725 fire training hours while serving with the Betsy Layne Fire Dept. During the election on February 9th, 2009, Bobby was elected to the rank of Lieutenant. A year later, on Feb 8th, he was appointed to be Captain of the Betsy Layne Fire Dept. Bobby and his wife, Tureem, live in the Stanville community.
