During his first stint with the dept., Charlie obtained his Level I firefighter certification on April 29th, 1996, as well as his Level I instructor certification less than five months later on September 20th.
Other than Public Relations, he served as Vice President from February 13th to June 26th, 1995, and as President from June 26th, 1995, until February 17th, 1997. He was also appointed as the department's Alternate Safety Officer from February 12th, 1996, until February 17th, 1997.

Since his latest arrival, Charlie has again done an outstanding job as our public relations officer and he takes great pride in what he does for the community. Thanks to him, we now have Freddy the Firetruck to help him out with his job duties. During the months following Freddy's arrival, it would become a hit with kids and adults alike throughout the fire protection district as well as other surrounding areas. Among all his other duties, he is also Betsy Layne's Explorer Training Officer.
