On Monday evening at approximately 11pm while several of the firefighters were still at the station following an unusually, lengthy business meeting, the tones were dropped for an injury accident on a curvy section of Ky 1426 near the Sammy Clark Branch vicinity.

Two line officers and 5 other firefighters responded to the accident as did one pumper apparatus and our rescue truck.  The first firefighter on scene acted as the scene evaluator reporting back that extrication would not be necessary.  Firefighters remained on scene for about one hour to assist with traffic control as KSP Trooper Anthony Trotter conducted his investigation.
